We are looking for developers in Szeged.


Front End Developer

Antavo is using a conventional LAMP stack, spread across a few VM's in the Amazon cloud (not just VM's, we use a plenty of their services), serving users from 160 countries of 4 continents.

Each part of Antavo is a different challenge. Our portal needs to be lightweight and super fast. Pages are mainly static and all assets are placed in CDN.

The Antavo platform has a complex but straightforward UI, and it constantly extends and evolves. Leaving behind older browser versions we explore the extremities here.

Displaying promotions should be robust and reliable; speed is not neglectible here also. What's more, promotions should be displayed properly on most devices.

About the role
Tasks

• Build HTML layout for new parts from graphic design with bearing industry and company standards in mind.
• Develop and implement a CSS (atomic) design pattern to make our pages unified and lighter.
• Develop and maintain responsive layouts for specific pages across Antavo.
• Continuous UI testing with available browsers (on tablet and mobile too).

Site building experiences

• HTML5: Cross-browser CSS compatibility knowledge, JavaScript, Basic PHP knowledge
• Working with Adobe Photoshop CS5+
• Using a version control system (SVN)
• Usage of in-browser developer tools

Advantages

• Knowledge of: Zurb Foundation Framework, AngularJS, Dart, Polymer, at least one PHP framework, a CSS preprocessor
• Creating template from wireframe
• Responsive designs with media queries
• Experience in website layouts for mobiles
• Modern design patterns (atomic design)
