Nem csak állítólag. Egyébként kár hogy nem alapból hardcore módban fut a játék. Sokkal realisztikusabb.

Én írtam egy kis batch fájlt a biztonság kedvéért Jelenleg ez bejön, kérdés holnapután mi lesz.

Így azt írja ki, hogy 2 nap múlva jár le és nem jelez hibát.

Well, I kind of wonder about the truth of the original post. There is actually an Atari forum moderator on the official Test Drive Unlimited forum that stated this claim about files being deleted on drive C were false. There does seem to be several people stating they have had this problem, but only in this forum. I wonder at the possibility that someone has created multiple Gamespy accounts to cause worry amongst the TDU community and try and ruin the reputation of the game or the developers. I guess it is also possible that people are attributing problems to the uninstaller that are actually caused by something else.

I mean, it doesn't make sense that the initial poster would be able to get back into Windows if everything on C: was deleted. It also doesn't make sense that an uninstaller would target any files outside the install directory.

I personally just uninstalled the game and had no issues whatsoever. I made a print screen of my C: directory and made a backup of my C: drive contents to another drive. Test Drive was installed on drive D:. Absolutely no changes were made to any files on C: after the uninstall.

I personally think people shouldn't worry about running the uninstaller. I'm sure numerous people have already installed the game with no problem, otherwise this post would have more than just 40 some odd replies.

This email is to inform you of a bug in the Test Drive Unlimited uninstaller from the Open Beta Test. If you plan on uninstalling Test Drive Unlimited, please be sure to back-up (or move) any "loose" personal files you may have stored in the c:\ root directory on your computer.

There is an issue where the uninstaller may attempt to remove files in the c:\ root directory that are NOT in a folder or are NOT protected by windows.

- Files that are in folders on c:\ are NOT affected by this bug.

- Files that are protected by your windows operating system are also not affected.

Please be sure to take extra special care when uninstalling TDU.

If you have any questions at all regarding this issue, or would like more instructions on how to back-up your files, please email betatestadmin@atari.com

This bug is of course fixed in the retail version of TDU.

I'd also like to remind everyone that the Open Beta Test for Test Drive Unlimited will be ending tomorrow 2/4/07. Thanks again for all your help in the beta test for Test Drive Unlimited and we look forward to seeing you on the road in the future!

Szóval azt írják a retailben már fixálják. Szerintem meg azt sem tudják mitõl van Különben miért nem adnak ki egy patchet ami kijavítja? Azért nem kevés ember letöltötte szvsz. Vagy ennyi elég, hogy figyelmeztetnek, innentõl õk megtették amit lehet?

now i am curious...
in 2 days game will stop working so i am gioing to uninstall it, the proper way (add/remove programs), but if its gonna touch any other non-related file on my hard drive, then atari will have a serious issue here..
we all know (from M$) what can be done in a legal way against it...
