Hello. I represent the international IT-company Paragon Software. We
deal with the lokalization (translation) of smartphones, Pocket PCs,
Palm PC`s to many languages including Hungarian. According to the increasing size of a
work we are intrested in a new Hungarian translator.

The work system is very easy. We send you via e-mail some files usually
Excel files there the words in English (usually the lines from
interface of the device) are in one column and you put the translation
in the next column. Usually it does not take a lot of time from
translators to make such a work especially if you are accustomed to
smartphone or Pocket PC interface. And don`t forget that we pay for
this!

4 HUF/szó és még adózz belõle. Fordítóirodáknál majdnem ennyi/leütés a tarifa.

Excuse me? What's wrong with the sentence? And what's convincing? Pardon my igorance, but I failed to pick up anything wrong with it. And how about your use of Present Perfect Continuous? Wotcher, matey!

I'm no translator, at least . But the sentence is clearly missing a verb, or misusing "hungry" for it (didn't you mean "hunger"? ). And I feel my PPC is right on it's place.

You are right, the sentence is clearly colloquial and only alludes to "[There are] many translators hungry for work." I still think it is correct.

About the PPC: I would have used Simple Past (completed action in the past), i.e. "Let's hope that you applied for the job with more care." (More like "Let's hope you took more care in applying for the job", note the SP tense of "took"). PPC is used for something you have been doing from a point in the past up until now (and may keep doing it in the indefinite future).

(Isn't there an English chat-topic somewhere on the forum?)

Now that I see that you know what you're talking about, it's more reasonable, but I've got to admit, it sounded like a very basic mistake. That's the real beauty of the English language

I'm an English teacher and that sentence is absolutely correct.  Colloquial, yes, but still OK.
