As you may be aware of the DX website has been unstable in the past 48 hours and the site has been completely unavailable for the past few hours.
Sorry for the inconvenience and for not posting the cause and details of the down time earlier. After working with hosting it is confirmed the problems are caused by malicious traffic (i.e. DDoS / Distributed Denial of Service).
Please note that this is not a type of hacking -- your orders and information are completely safe. The intention of the person or company who's behind this is to clog DX servers and prevent legitimate access from customers.
In addition, DX utilizes different servers and networks for Customer Service and Order Processing. Thus, CSE and order shipping are in no way affected. This can be verified as customers continue to receive shipment and customer service response e-mails throughout this period.
At the moment we are still working with host to filter out these malicious traffic. In the meantime, as many customers have found out, using the HTTPS address will yield better connectivity:
