Im pretty stupid when it comes to things about computers.
i know a little bit but this is just beyond me i dont know if its a hardware problem software problem or what.

But i reformatted and reinstalled Windows xp Home SP2 due to virus problem, sumhow got a virus and it $#@^#@ over my computer and i wasnt able to access internet, download nearly anything, or even system restore... so i reinstalled the windows and thought that i will just start all over again,

but wen i tried to set up internet nothing would work...still... i went to device manager and said that everything was working except: Ethernet Controller, Multimedia Audio Controller, RAID Controller, RAID Controller.

They all show yellow bubble with exclamation mark in them and i try update, reinstall and watever but i cant cause no internet... i have no othr CDs other than the windows xp home SP2 disk.

i know my computer works with my internet cause it was working... before the virus.
i dont know much about the desktop because my dad is the person who gave it to me and always messed with it.

You have to find the appropriate drivers for your PC. Like: motherboard chipset driver, ethernet controller driver, sound drivers. You have to use another PC, which already has internet connection, or any live system does the work, like live linux-es (ubuntu). Just boot it up from it's CD, and then you probably will have internet connection, if you use the latest version of the live operating system. But I guess, you don't have any live systems, so you have to use another PC to download the drivers needed. The main job is to find the motherboard's drivers, all you need is to open the PC case, and read the motherboard's type. It's most likely written on the motherboard itself. Then you have to google, or go directly to the vendor's website, and download all the necessary drivers shipped for your motherboard, except the BIOS, because you don't even need BIOS.

Sziasztok.
Össze szeretném kötni a laptopom egy régi, képcsöves tvvel. Mint kiderült, ez nem kis vállalkozás. A tvn svideo és scart bementek vannak, míg a laptopon csak vga és hdmi kimenet. Utóbbi szerintem nem jöhet szóba. Vga-svideo és vga-scart összekötő kábeleket találtam, de kéne egy program, név szerint Powerstripe. Ezzel van valakinek tapasztalata? Megy win 7 alatt? Láttam külső hardweres átalakítót is, de az elég drága. ezek megbízhatók?
