How long have you been learning english?I live in Sopron and I hve been learning english for 6 years in the Highschool
And I want to make the ECL B2 language exam in june.Do you now anything about this exam?

I don't know, it doesn't sound right. It's a kind of awkward thing to do.

Gaspy: I learnt it for 13 years, between 1992 and 2005. The distribution was:3 years (primary school) +4 (high school) +6 (4+2, college+university).

Three years during high school, two more during college/university, too many years to count during playing games and some more at work communicating many different accents and the people behind.

By the way, learning and english experiences; i live in Skegness, Lincolnshire now (East-England), and sometimes the british staffs say ``don `t matter`` and ``she don `t`` and he don `t and somthing like that. For example my boss as well who is a british people.

He says englishmen simplify their syntax to an extremity saying "do not" instead of "does not". Or maybe it's just how a foreigner understands how they say "does not".

I'd say they do tend to use these short forms. Though they aren't correct grammatically... But I think this use of the language is accepted more and more.

I'm in my workplace now and i bored. While today is workday, nobody here still.

I called some shop, but  they were opening as Saturday open-hours.

Hey yourself. Me, I learned English in elementary school for 6 straight years. Although I didn't really bother to actually do my homework and stuff.    Then I succesfully skipped my High School English lessons, but was back with a vengeance in college, learning the same damn thing (and all those boring facts about British government and what have you) once again for almost two years. All in all, 'twas elementary school where I learned the basics, and the rest is credited to basically listening to music, watching MTV, CNN, etc., going to an English Bible course with a teacher straight from Arkansas, and just about everything you can learn from real life. That said, I still use my grammar the way it comes around, just instinctually. See, I don't like rules. At all.

Frankly, I really don't understand your last sentence. Maybe someone else does.

Maybe he means that the shops he called weren't open, because for them it was a Saturday, meaning by the time he called them, they had already closed.
