I like autumn too. I just don't like being stuck in this shity job, tryin' ta find a new one and not getting anywhere, feeling like I'm good for nothin' even though I have a loving husband and a warm home. Got this philosophical bullshit mood handing over me, creating run-on sentences that just run on and on ranting and raving about nothin' in particular.

So you wanna talk about the weather? No f.cking winds of change blowing from any direction I can percieve. Just a dank, stuffy kind of atmosphere settling on my oppressed soul. Depressed? I'm not depressed I'm upset as hell! I'm as good as the next, I'm better than the next guy so how come I get passed up for all the jobs, eh??? :reklamacio:

Shit happens. :D Anyway, autumn is a good period for searching new job. Give plenty of time for yourself and do not get disappointed. Do not loose confidence and you will find a nice one. I am just over of the experience. :D

In the meantime I got to know it's meaning.

Autumn? I've no trees in the street I live in. So most of the time, I have no idea what season it is. No mosquitos in the winter at least.

So tell me, do you like my prose? Or would you rather doze?  :)

Doze? What the hack are you speaking about? :)

At all, it's a viewpont. I like autumn, this weather. It's not hot and cold, it's dry but not dirty, and so on. And there are some very-very romantic sights among trees. Nice young ladies love this and I like this, too. Not an unimportant factor. :)

But, winter is coming... I'll have to clean the pavement of snow, to drive the car as I would be on a skid pad, feel very cold, buy warm clothes, wear gloves and caps wear a lot before leaving to anywhere, fall on the ice, get cold on the train, because the overworking heating.

In one word, autumn is nice. :)

I watch the world through dozing eyes, so you can only fall short on that :D. But, to be ontopic: as an autumn-borne, it's my favorite season. Az the colors begin to vary, the winds rise, the air gets colder and more bearable, than these mutant summers nowadays...

...and how the sight of all going to sleep just rest my mind, and how I even think about writing a poem, before I realise I would sweat like a one legged man on an ass-kicking contest just to come up with a tired rhyme...

..and I just open my window, while sitting at my table, blow some cigarette smoke through the crack, feeling the cold air move in...

...peering into the darkness, until my brain, pulsating with the groove of the day, slowly begins to feel it's unreal calm...

...greeting the cold, as I can wear my coats and never run out of pockets to put my gadgets and keys in them :D...

So you want a poem of the season. I think I have one in stock.

I start to feel the cold in the fall. It's a season that makes me sleepy. I sleep rather than face the feeling that seeps through the season to the very core of my soul; for it is a season, that makes you wish for the warm, happy days of summer, while it foreshadows, whispers, hails the onset of the colder months of winter. Autumn... is often overrated, romanticized. I am a child of spring. Autumn, though my second favorite season, is just a shadow, a cheap imitation of spring. A poor subsitute, but this is the here and now. So I sleep. Perchance to dream...

Leather jacket. I get to wear my leather jacket again, at least. The short one, that makes me look like a rocker. Wild child. Wish I was. Wild, passionate, uninhibited... Break out, break free, cut the shackles that bind to the mundane and drudging routine. So inside I'm screaming, raging, whirling, exploding... and outside... I wear my leather jacket and hang a pentacle in my neck. A non-conformist conformist. An idealistic cynic. And somewhere I'm happy with my damn confusing paradox self!   :hemuveg:

What the hack??? What the heck does that mean? :D

Doze, slumber, sleep, nap. Get it? A state of unconsciousness.

Autumn is nice??? Nice? A little girl is nice, your romantic visions are nice, a saleslady is nice. Autumn? Come on! If you like it, be more expressive about it.

Winter... Well, the good thing about it is the family and the holidays. The bad thing about it is the cold, the slush, the heating bill, early darkness, the family and the holidays.  :D

A good one, may I say so. What I would totally miss is giving life to a poem. Sure, I can throw words around, they can line up nicely, they make sense, and I might say that I stand my ground when it comes to using prose... but I lack creativity, that survival trait for the jungles of the lines not reaching the sides of the page :D. I can't even imagine myself writing something... even if I sometimes almost crave for it, I just didn't gather enough inertia to move me through the first and hardest step.

But hey, it's the autumn we're talking about. I also like my leather coat, even if the reason is far more practical :). But I just, simply, like the part of the year when the hotness ends, when soothing cold and darkness falls... even with my great (and mostly unsatisfied) need for sleep, I pride myself to be a nocturnal person. Spring is overrated with all the joy of the coming life :). Autumn reminds us that though there might be a time for frolicking in the meadows, still it's not good to forget that all things end. And that idealism is not the best thing to wield, when one's facing Time :).

I leave now for a short winter :) Spring's early tomorrow (and boy, will my springs be rusty :D ).

Thanks, its not that hard to write one like that. I have another of the "Desert", but its at home, and I'm at work, and this isn't the "share your own poems" topic anyway.

But you really don't need the Machete of Creativity to wade through the jungle of lines. Just let the lines seep into your train of thought and immerse your soul.

I used to be a nocturnal person too. Can't do it anymore. Still won't go to bed early, only now it takes its toll.  I used to be able to go through the day with only 2 hours of sleep. I'd be silly as hell, but I could do it. (My imagination really kicks in when I don't sleep much.) Now I'd probably catch a cold as a result. And I'm not even old yet.

So then who wants reminding of the passing of time? Not me, not most of the time. So spring still has my vote, overrated or not.  :)

Since I just got the assignment of writing and polishing macros, I might need to use my hidden tap to the Creative. Any machete would help, I guess... :D No sleeping is out of the question, I don't know if imagination is kicking in, but my head sure hurts :D.
