At the moment I own a Pitman Intermediate, it's not the best I know but it was good for not having to attend my english lessons in school. Now the Cambridge CAE is in progress, I'm waiting for the results to arrive.

Dont even mention it...im waiting for my CPE results to arrive,. last time i failed it but if i had 1 (one) percent more that would have been enough...

As far as I know it's counted as global isn't it? I mean you get 40 points for the oral part and 40 points each for other papers (1 through 4). That sums up 200 points for the whole exam. There's no such divided parts like the oral part and the written part, at least it's not counted separately. Or it's different with the CPE?

yepp. the interview i think sucked cuz the guy they paired me up with spoke English like someone who is a paranoid English teacher (i mean he spoke very well...too well...)

Fortunately I was paired with a friend of mine. Did you know that you actually can tell who you want to be paired with? Really... They say it's not an advantage whatsoever though.

well in the letter they sent me forst they said i dont have to be paired up w/ anyone if i dont want to, but i have to report this before the exam.
so i told them i want to be alone (this happened when i paid the money). then they sent me a letter that even though i asked them not to give a pair to me, they have to do it and "sorry for any inconviniences..." well fuck you! this might be a reason for failing. [them i mean, not you]

In some circumstances they even examine 3(!) ppl simultaneously. Thank God not in my case.

That's true. I think we (not just you and me of course, but we, all of us) should decide where shall we meet exactly because there'll be a lot of ppl and it would be a hell lot easier to find each other in that crowd. I think I'll arrive there a bit earlier, like 19.30 or something. Not that I have to travel a lot, opposed to you. Still I have to hurry when the film ends to reach the last trolleybus or I have to use the night routes.
