New JVC camcorder features 2 mega-pixel CCD image sensor with new imaging engine that separately processes video and still signals.
New York, June 24, 2004
JVC is introducing a digital camcorder that offers enhanced video and still image quality thanks to a two mega-pixel CCD image sensor, JVC’s new Megabrid engine and a new Super Hi-Rez lens. Moreover, the new camcorder comes with a USB Video Class interface for enhanced PC connectivity.
The JVC GR-DZ7 Mini DV camcorder features chic, jewel-like styling in a size that will handily fit into a purse. Inside its compact dimensions it is equipped with a two mega-pixel CCD image sensor for high quality video and digital stills.
As the demand for high-speed data transfer continues to grow, PC connectivity is becoming increasingly more important. To ensure widespread PC connectivity for this new camcorder at a time when PC makers are opting for USB versus an IEEE 1394 interface, GR-DZ7 comes with a USB port, which supports USB Video Class. So DV signal data can be transferred to PC* via the commonly used USB 2.0 High-Speed port, with no need to worry about the IEEE1394 (I-Link) terminal. A USB cable and USB Video Class driver** are provided.
* USB 2.0 compliant interface required.
** Windows XP OS required.
In order to fully utilize the two mega-pixel CCD’s picture performance, the GR-DZ7 uses JVC’s Megabrid engine that separately processes video and still signals, providing optimal processing for each. This results in high sensitivity and a high signal-to-noise ratio for moving pictures as well as clear, high resolution still images. This new engine works in conjunction with JVC’s proven Super High-Band Processor that restores the high-band components of the luminance signal to ensure a crisp, clear picture.

Nekem kicsit még propaganda ízű, de őszintén kívánom, hogy válljon be, drukkolok neki...

Különben nekem is JVC miniDV-s kamerám van...
