Old? I'm only 21, you're 29. Perhaps we're old...
Look, there are some people who doesn't feel sorry about the time spent on reading books and creating valuable sentences. I don't want to say it's a problem of the upcoming generation. It isn't. It's the former generation's "mistake". Parents and teacher should apply new conditions shown by the world. They don't want to or can't, I don't know.
After all: lots of youngsters are taught to take care about the writing they hand out. Lots of them aren't. But it is noticed only in the case they do a mistake. The right ones are never on the podium.
Yeah, you see one or two of those some time to time and they mean hope. ok, hope is a bit strong word for this, but still, I'd like to see more. Yes, much "atype" about nothing.

But let's see this from another point of view, look at it as a kind of social evolution. Such evolution has always existed, just think of how you speak (or spoke) to your grandparents and how your parents do (did). In this environment, it's all ok and, what's more, needed. I step aside and let the mass go on, if complaining a bit now and then (
edit: WW, this answers your post too
). For those who want to stop this: "Parents and teacher should be shown the new conditions applied to this new world."
I tend to be idealist so I stop now. A new aim of mine got expressed by your words, put a right one onto the podium, if got the chance.
