Dont you think of this? and dont you think so? have different meanings. One means "havent you thought about this aspect so far?" while the second means something like "dont you agree?" or maybe "isnt it like this/that?"

"What do you do?" is a question about the other's job.

I don't think it's a word, it's just an abbreviation for "Laughing Out Loud", and is (should be) used on the internet only. Though I've heard people say "lol" (pronounced like this) in real life instead of laughing, which is rather sad.

Why?   Today, Internet belongs to our everydays... I often use 'lol' in IRL... :Ð

I don't think what you thought to be a correct expression ("question's still living") is a real one.
About your other Q: I don't have the foggiest idea what you're talking about.

Avoid using "I must" or "I have to". They're suggesting a victim position.
Use simply "I do that" or "I don't do that". They suggest that you intend to do those things for your purpose.

Although I've never heard this, I try to follow your advice.

If I write "I do see those exotic birds" it could easily be ambiguous. (do instead of must/have to)

The context defines the true meaning of the sentence.
"ambiguous" - I've never heard this word before.

Avoiding the victim position is not really english grammar, rather psychology.

"ambiguous" - I've never heard this word before.

It's a common word regardless. It's even in an SQL error message.
But my favourite word is still this: ambivalence. Why mention it now you ask? No idea. Just free association I guess.
