Avoid using "I must" or "I have to". They're suggesting a victim position.

Use simply "I do that" or "I don't do that". They suggest that you intend to do those things for your purpose.

Although I've never heard this, I try to follow your advice.
But.

If I write "I do see those exotic birds" it could easily be ambiguous. (do instead of must/have to)
1) Látnom kell azokat az egzotikus madarakat.
2) Igenis látom azokat az egzotikus madarakat.
Am I right?
