Aye-aye, Sir!
By the way, your last longer post was way better than the previous ones. I think it depends a lot on how much attention you put in posting.

Yes. The emphasis is not only on the language knowledge simply, but on the logic. Because the usage of the grammatical rules requires big logic. For me often the putting together of the lingual sentences like that, than a mathematical problem: the grammatical rules are in exchange of me, but I have to think about it, how let me put it together the sentence. This does not succeed always. At translation the same situation, it translated simply: it is necessary to think about it there, what kind of the grammatical construction and if you find out, it  is, already easier to define the sense of the sentence.

The speech at me is another situation. There what the person said while I try to put it together, relates five other sentences already by that time.

As reading your last post found that this is your problem. It is good you think about grammar but my opinion related to your last post is to simplify your english. Dude it is too complicated that is why few of us was asking back what you really tried to say. And commas, actually I have not seen as many commas in an english book as many you typed in your posts.  Native english do not use (rarely).

P.S.: this is my first post here in English topic.

Thank you that you got up my attention about commas. One of my English teacher warned me about this already, that over I use many commas. The English people do not like commas very much. I observed that the relative pronouns are given up many times already. In the case of complex sentences at this time heavy to realize what is the sense of the sentence, because of the deficiency of the relative pronouns, conjunctions.
This phenomenon disturbing for me, it is used with predilection on exams.

I have a question too: I know that the aye word means yes, but is this slang? Seems me in that manner as if this word would not be used for a long time. First time it appeared me in the Lost movie series.

Once I have been watching CNN and some event was broadcasted fom the US Congress where I have seen Ayes and Nays as Igen - Nem as a result of a voting, unfortunately I don't remember what the authentic word for "Tartózkodott" is. Hope this might help.

I know a verb for this: abstain?

We may see that the slang creeps into the politics in some places. I reckon that the slang contributes to the fact of the language transformation. This a very long process but it seems that it will be the key for the transformation.  Neologistics do not exist already today, because of this the slang is the reforming role.

The slang jargon that borns in small groups where the people spent a lot of time each other and their interest circle is similar or their occupation is identical. It plays an important social role in these communities: it strengthens the feeling of togetherness, and separates the given community from the others. But what happens if the lingual customs spread from these groups to other people? The lingual expressions expand in this case, these forms get in this manner to bigger social groups. This phenomenon is observable in our days.

Is it better?

It is better, but still too complicated. :)

Oh, really!

In the case of the English language it is need to think often so simply that the solution does not occur to the man. The simplicity is very typical of the English language. There are many things, which the student overcomplicates, it is necessary to strive for the simplicity. When I look at it on the english language films, I am surprised at the characters express themselves simply. Many complicated sentences are related with simplicity, I would not think that it is that solution.

Hmm, my sentence is simple, but I didn't end 's' to 'speak'. Oh my... :D

What You say is true. I experience that quite often, as well. Students want to look real smart, so they try to formulate complicated phrases and sentences. But they rarely succeed. In the end what they come up with, is often a complete mess. :)

I advice a very interesting page:

http://hu.wikipedia....%B1_angol_nyelv

What do you think about it?

This language may be useful for everybody. It is easy to speak and easy to understand. It is possible to express a lot of thing with it. I reckon the English language has a logic, this is the logic of the simplicity. As if it would suggest that you compose more simply. If the man gets used to the simple composition, he is on the goood way of the language knowledge. It would not do harm if the teachers would try to instil this in the students. The other problem is that the man is very prone to the loan translation. It is necessary to avoid this.

Case of Dextrose and the damn commas  :D  There are not commas before what / that / which / etc. Materials: 1, 2, 3. You should buy a keyboard without comma key in order to do not use it  :p

Hi guys, sorry I had not time to drop by recently.

Actually, I would really like to correct your sentences dex, but I just plain dont understand what you are trying to say dude... :) You keep sentences overcomplicated. Try to use more basic words and simple grammar, might just help.

Actually, now you are just denying yourself. :) Keep it as simple as possible.

As for your question, "aye" was used by 1700s pirates first as far as I know. It still is connected to pirate lingo, as seen in computer games or Pirates of the Caribbean etc. They might just use "Aye" and "Nay" in high places, though. What I heard of when voting in the US was "Yep" and "Nope".  :)

From: Headquarters
To: All Hungarian Speaking Staff

Subject: Improper Language Usage

It has been brought to our attention by several officials visiting our
office in Hungary that offensive language is commonly used by our Hungarian
speaking staff. Such behavior, in addition to violating our policy, is
highly unprofessional and offensive to both visitors and staff. All
personnel will immediately adhere to the following rules:

1. Words like basszameg, a kurva életbe, fasz and other such expressions
will not be tolerated or used for emphasis or dramatic effect, no matter
how
heated a discussion may become.

2. You will not say elbaszta when someone makes a mistake, or leszarták if
you see someone being reprehended, or szar when a major mistake has been
made. All forms and derivations of the verb szarni and baszni are utterly
inappropriate and unacceptable in our environment.

3. No project manager, section head or administrator under any
circumstances
will be referred to as faszfej, genya, szarházi or geci.

4. Lack of determination will not be referred to as seggfej nor will
persons
who lack initiative be referred to as beszari.

5. Unusual or creative ideas offered by management are not to be referred
to
as baromságok.

6. Do not say baszogassa az anyukáját if somebody is persistent; do not add

bazzzmeg, if a colleague is going through a difficult situation.
Furthermore, you must not say elbasztuk (refer to item 2) nor erre rá
fogunk
baszni when a matter becomes excessively complicated.

7. When asking someone to leave you alone, you must not say menj a picsába
nor should you ever substitute "May I help you?" with, mi a faszt akarsz?".

8. Under no circumstances should you ever call your elderly industrial
partners rohadt beszállítók.

9. Do not say menjenek a picsába ezzel a szarral when a relevant project is

presented to you, or should you ever answer lófasz a seggedbe when your
assistance is required.

10. You should never call partner representatives as rohadt dög or barom
állat.

11. The sexual behavior of our staff is not to be discussed in terms such
as
dögös picsa, köcsög állat or buzi homokos.

12. Last but not least, after reading this note, please do not say kitörlöm
a seggem ezzel a szöveggel!

Just keep it clean and dispose of it properly.

Thank you.

I think we sould have a phonetic English topic. It would be funny. I had this idea while reading "nomórfákinvájörlesz", "veniccdán" and "ofkóz" phrases in different topics.
