Fancy now right here was a big massive earthquake before yesterday. The level of the earthquake was 5.2 the strongest one a few years ago. I live in Lincolnshire, and that was here in yorkshire and lincolnshire plenty of chimney collapsed and plenty of roof have fallen off. I didnt feel it cus i asleep but next morning i realised wot happened from the BBC1.

No am not. There are plenty of foreign people over here and thats the simply reason thats why they hate the foreigners. I heard a lot of times, the english people had enough and fed up with the polish people and they hate them. You worked in a different shade, with different people so maybe couldnt feel things like this.

I didn't feel like they hate foreigners, not really. I worked with people from Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka, and the British were cool with that. If you are a good person, can communicate and do not act like you're a foreigner, they will be nice to you, usually.

Bad english is not so much the problem, it's enough if you know only a few words if you can make yourself understood. At least, that's how I see it.

On the other hand, I got to hate Indian and Pakistani people living in England since they just think too much about themselves, like they rule the country or something, they are lazy, look down on you and also, they try to cheat you wherever they can. I only lost 5 pounds to them but it could have been more.

Well, just a simple case of paying with a tenner and getting back change like I gave 5. I could have lost 40 to a Pakistani in a cell phone store, though if I hadn't been more careful, he would've taken all my money which was 'a bit' more than the price of the phone. "Guesses" are more like low-life thieves oftentimes though, these guys are stealing with a straight face and would even get offended if caught.

Well, I don't think that all people from India and Pakistan are so infamous. These are huge countries, there must be some nice people, too!   However, they mostly hate each other...

Infamous is not the right word there. And yeah, I only referred to the South East Asians who live in Britain, not the ones back home, I'm sure there are a lot of nice people there.

Actually, I spoke to a lot of them and they are really nice. The ones in Britain with better jobs are sympathetic, too. It's only the shopkeepers and the uneducated who give their whole people a bad name.

Here, we have the same problem with the "lebos" (Lebanese people). They just can't integrate into the society, can't play by the rules, ignore every western custom. These yobbos are dangerous, arrogant, and don't give a shit about other people. Probably I'm biased but I've seen too much of their shit around me. Last December five of these animals attacked a friend of mine at night in the city. They bashed him and when he was down one of 'em cut his throat with a broken beer bottle.  fortunately he's OK, but for god's sake, you don't do things like this!  I'd love to  all of them.

Any webpage would do well for you. I mean any webpage, located physically in England, read from an arm's reach.
In other words, I don't think your English will be more alive after some reading. As the saying goes, one should live the language, not speak it. (Well, it's most probably one of the never-existed dacota sayings.)

Well, I could say read some Newsweek, MSN's Slate, online newspapers like that. I can not tell you a "living, breathing" site right now. It is hard since most of the popular pages use more sophisticated lingo. (Well heck, read Penny Arcade! If you can understand Tycho, you will understand anything.) :Ð

But like my dakota friend up there said, you would have to chat, not read.    Watch Vlogs on Youtube. Chat with a British or American girl (or guy if you wish) You can find tons of strangers on ICQ who would like to chat with you. Provided that ICQ is still alive, that is...

AFAIK ICQ is still alive and kicking, though I suppose it has less active users than it had like 7 years ago or so.
Anyway, watch movies in English. Like Oscar [oxymoron, anyone? ] Or watch any other English-speaking movies with subtitles if necessary. They are really useful for such purposes.

I think he did a fine job it that movie, considering that comedy is not really his primary field.
